Contact UsFounded in 2006, Tuniu is a leading online leisure travel company in China offering a wide variety of packaged tours and travel services. Since the fourth quarter of 2015, Tuniu has consistently ranked first in China’s online leisure travel market in terms of transaction value, according to research think tank Analysys. Tuniu is poised to capture future growth opportunities in China’s online travel market, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 36% from 2015 to 2018 as measured by transaction value.
On May 9, 2014, Tuniu successfully listed on the Nasdaq, becoming China’s first listed online leisure travel company. As of March 2018, we have sold approximately 83 million travel products since our inception. Our product portfolio currently consists of over 800,000 SKUs of organized tours, over 1,200,000 SKUs of self-guided tours, and ticketing for over 1,000 domestic and international tourist attractions. Tuniu’s core strength is in our outbound leisure travel products and services,which contributed to over 67% of our packaged tour gross bookings for 2017.
Tuniu has established itself as a widely recognized and trusted brand in China by providing a superior customer experience for our travelers. We continue to cultivate customer loyalty and ensure customer satisfaction through an extensive nationwide service network, which includes a support system of professional tour advisors, 24/7 call centers, in addition to approximately 200 offline retail stores and 14 of our own local tour operators.
Tuniu’s brand power and growing customer base enable us to source a broad range of products from over 16,500 quality travel suppliers at competitive prices. We have developed a proprietary supply chain management system called N-Booking that allows us to streamline our interactions with travel suppliers. The management system updates our suppliers with real-time booking information, which in turn helps our suppliers to better understand customer preferences and efficiently manage travel products.
